Synqro thumbnail: brochure website price ranges by provider

A brochure website costs anywhere from $15 a month on a DIY builder to $25,000 or more with an agency, based on prices checked in October 2026. For a business that expects leads from its site, the most common budget sits between $4,000 and $12,000 (£3,000 to £10,000) for 5 to 10 pages, with copy and technical SEO included. This guide gives the ranges by type of provider with their sources, the costs that never show up on the quote, and a sample quote broken down line by line.

In short: there are three ways to pay for a brochure website. A DIY builder (Wix, Squarespace, Webflow) costs $15 to $30 a month plus your own time. A freelancer charges $1,500 to $6,000 for 3 to 12 pages. An agency charges $5,000 to $25,000 (£3,000 to £15,000) with copy, technical SEO and training included. The headline price matters less than what it covers: copywriting, SEO and maintenance are the first three lines to vanish from the cheapest quotes.

The ranges below combine published rate data (Upwork, Clutch, a UK pricing study), the vendors' official pricing pages and the quotes we see on our clients' tenders. Checked in October 2026, excluding tax.

At Synqro, a brochure website costs €3,000 to €20,000 before VAT and ships in 8 to 12 weeks. The bottom of the range is a 5-page site built on an existing component library; the top is a 30-page site with a dedicated art direction, copywriting and technical SEO. Our Webflow agency page details what we deliver at each step.

Where these numbers come from

A website price without a source is worth nothing. Here is what the four references we rely on say, checked on October 21, 2026.

  • Upwork lists web designers at a median of $15 to $30 an hour, with $15 to $40 for a basic one-page site, $20 to $50 for a CMS build and $45 to $75 and up for a fully custom design. Its own estimate: 10 hours for a very small project, several dozen for a custom one. At 40 to 80 hours, a custom brochure site lands between $1,800 and $6,000.
  • Clutch, in its web design pricing guide updated September 21, 2026, puts shortlisted agencies at $100 to $149 an hour in the US, $50 to $99 in the UK, and specialists in Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or Shopify at $25 to $49 an hour. Most projects reviewed on Clutch cost less than $10,000; the average project across all sizes is $38,105.
  • Whito's UK study (website design costs, data verified October 2026) prices a 5-page brochure site at £1,500 to £3,000 with a freelancer and £3,000 to £5,000 with an agency, a 15-page custom business site at £5,000 to £15,000, and says most UK businesses pay £3,000 to £6,000 for a professionally built site. Freelancers charge £40 to £70 an hour, agencies £60 to £150.
  • The vendors publish their prices: Webflow charges $15 a month for the Basic plan and $25 a month for Premium with CMS, billed yearly (webflow.com/pricing). Squarespace starts at $19 a month billed annually, Wix at $17.77. A .com domain costs $11.28 the first year and $18.48 a year to renew at Namecheap.

What none of these sources count: the hours you spend writing, approving and chasing. On a $2,000 site, that is often the biggest real cost.

What each budget actually includes

This is the most useful table in the article. Compare two quotes line by line, not on the total.

Under $1,500Stock template, colors swapped1 to 5Supplied by youBasic tags, sometimes nothingNothing
$1,500 to $4,000Customized template3 to 8Supplied by you, proofreadTags, decent speedBug fixes for a few weeks

Above $25,000, you are no longer buying a brochure website but a platform: client portal, business integrations, product catalog, interactive tools. Those are quoted after a scoping workshop, and we cover them in our guide to how much a website costs.

The hidden costs of a brochure website

The build quote never covers everything. Here are the line items to add, with sourced orders of magnitude.

Over three years, a $6,000 site hosted on Webflow costs about $6,000 plus 36 months at $25: under $7,000. The same site on WordPress with $100 a month of maintenance comes to $9,600. That is one reason we build on Webflow: hosting, updates and security are part of the subscription. Every plan is detailed in our Webflow pricing guide.

Sample quote for an 8-page brochure website

Here is how a typical Synqro quote breaks down for a 5 to 10 page brochure site. The percentages are indicative; the total moves with the level of design and the amount of copy, within our €3,000 to €20,000 range. The example below is set on an 8-page site at €9,000 before VAT.

Line itemWhat it coversShare of quoteExample at €9,000
Scoping workshopGoals, audiences, user journeys, target keywords, schedule10%€900
Sitemap and copySite structure, page-by-page outline, writing or editing15%€1,350
Design in FigmaReusable components, desktop and mobile mockups, two rounds of feedback30%€2,700
Webflow buildPages, CMS, forms, animations, responsive25%€2,250
Technical SEOTags, structured data, redirects, speed, sitemap10%€900
QA and trainingTesting, fixes, training your marketing team10%€900

Two lines move the total the most: design (a site built on a component library costs half of a dedicated art direction) and copy (supplied, edited or written). A quote that shows neither of these lines cannot be compared with anything.

Freelancer or agency for a brochure website: what each quote includes

How long a brochure website takes

The timeline depends less on the provider than on how fast copy and approvals arrive. A 5 to 10 page site ships in 8 to 12 weeks at Synqro, a landing page in 2 weeks. With a freelancer, count 4 to 8 weeks for a scope that is already defined. We detail every step and what derails schedules in our article on how long it takes to build a website.

Delay has a price: a site delivered three months late is three months of leads that never arrived. Put that next to a $1,000 gap between two quotes.

A good brief lowers the quote

Providers price uncertainty. Without a brief, they pad the quote for back-and-forth, pages added mid-project and features discovered during QA. With a two-page document listing the pages, the audiences, sites you like, the content you already have and the integrations you expect, the quotes you receive become comparable and often cheaper.

Our website brief template covers the twelve points to fill in. It takes an hour and saves you that much on every tender.

What a brochure website quote must contain

A serious quote fits on two or three pages and answers these nine points. If one is missing, ask before you sign.

  1. Exact scope: number of pages, templates, languages, and what is out of scope.
  2. Design: customized template, custom design on a component library, or dedicated art direction, with the number of feedback rounds included.
  3. Copy: who writes it, who edits it, and what is expected from you and by when.
  4. Visuals: photos, illustrations, icons, and who supplies them.
  5. Technical SEO: tags, redirects, structured data, sitemap, speed. "SEO optimized" with no detail means nothing.
  6. Technology and hosting: the platform, the monthly cost after launch, and who owns the account.
  7. Ownership: you must own the domain, the hosting account and the design files.
  8. Schedule: milestones, approval dates, launch date.
  9. After launch: warranty on fixes, training, rate for changes, response time.

Ask for three quotes, not ten. Beyond that you are comparing different scopes and losing more time than you gain in negotiation.

The nine points a brochure website quote must contain before you sign

Freelancer, agency or DIY: how to decide

The right question is not "how much does the site cost" but "how much does it need to bring in". The math takes three numbers you already know: the average value of a customer, your conversion rate from inquiry to signed deal, and the number of monthly inquiries needed to pay the site back.

If a customer is worth $5,000 and you close one inquiry in four, eight inquiries pay back a $10,000 site. The question becomes: can this provider produce eight inquiries? A $2,000 site that produces none is still the more expensive one.

  • A DIY builder works for testing an idea or presenting a solo business. Budget 20 to 40 hours of your time for a presentable result. Do not count on it as an acquisition channel.
  • A freelancer is the best value when the brief is clear and you supply the copy. Check the portfolio in your industry and what happens after delivery.
  • An agency sells a combination of skills (scoping, design, build, SEO) and a method. It pays off when the site has to generate leads and your team needs to run it without a developer.

On the Qobra project, a commission management SaaS, the Webflow site built to support the rebrand was then optimized for two years: ROI calculator, funnels per audience. Result: three times more inquiries and sixteen times more organic traffic. The initial budget did not produce that result; treating the site as an acquisition tool from the scoping stage, then keeping it alive, did.

How Synqro prices a brochure website

We quote after a scoping workshop, never on a page count alone. The quote follows our method: sitemap and copy, component-based design in Figma, Webflow build, QA, then training your marketing team at handover. The site is hosted on Webflow with no plugins to maintain. We are based in Dubai with a French-speaking team, and we work with companies in Paris, across France and internationally, remotely or on site. More than 150 companies have trusted us since 2019, with 51 Google reviews at 5.0 out of 5 as of October 2026.

Already have a site and unsure whether to redesign or rebuild? A redesign costs about the same as a new build, with one extra line for redirects and keeping your rankings: our website redesign guide walks through the eleven steps.
